Community Grants Program

Part of the LNTCFS’ mission is to “provide to the communities of the Lower North Thompson Valley through sustainable forest harvest”.

Each year we allocate surplus revenue to our internally restricted “Community Grants” fund. These funds are later disbursed through our Community Grants program to support local non-profit organizations and community-based groups. Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with discussions and allocation decisions being made by the Board of Directors on which projects will be supported.

To apply, download the form below and return your completed form to us by email (LNTCFSociety@telus.net), hand (4648 Barriere Town Road), mail (Box 983, Barriere, BC, V0E 1E0) or fax (250-672-1942).

The annual application deadline is December 31st.

Please check back as we are updating our application and guidelines for the UPCOMING 2025 Grant year

Grant applications may be submitted at any time although grants decision-making is only once a year in January.
