Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) provides hands-on skills for those seeking employment in our community. These projects are funded by the Province of BC with the LNTCFS acting as sponsor and trustee for the projects. To date, the LNTCFS has sponsored a total ten JCP’s. During this time, JCP participants have worked to develop and maintain a significant trail network, campsites, and a geocache program for the Lower North Thompson, as well as conducted silviculture work (tree planting and manual brushing), range management work (invasive plant control and fenceline repairs), milling and carpentry/construction of recreation site infrastructure, and prefabricated post-and-beam cabins.
Supporting a Cooperative Economy

The Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society gratefully acknowledges the financial support of Interior Savings Credit Union, Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust, the Ministry of Social Development, and the many groups and individuals who have contributed to making this program a success!
