The LNTCFS has been fortunate to have a visitor for the past month from the University of Manitoba. Anne Maclean is a masters student working to collect information on the socioeconomic impacts of community forestry and specifically the Lower North Thompson Community Forest. As a large component of this research Anne conducted interviews with local stakeholders, grant recipients, and various members of the local communities. This said, I would like to extend a big thank-you to those who agreed to participate as this research is important and valuable to our organization. We have enjoyed having Anne and wish her all the best!

On behalf of the LNTCFS Board of Directors, we wish them all the best in the successful completion of this project and thank-you for your valuable contributions to the Lower North Thompson Valley!
